The Big 12 is set to host its inaugural conference-wide pro day for athletes hoping to be selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.

It's the first of its kind and 137 athletes from the conference will gather at Ford Center at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys' 91-acre campus and practice facility in Frisco, Texas, to showcase their talents.

The pro day has two days of on-field workouts, depending on position, with athletes showcasing their skills for scouts Thursday and Saturday.

Why is the Big 12 hosting a pro day for the conference as a whole? Usually, colleges host pro days for their players. Players can also attend the NFL Scouting Combine to showcase themselves, too.

Well, as TCU coach Sonny Dykes told The Athletic, "The Big 12 needs to sell the Big 12."

"I’m thrilled about it," Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark said. "I think it’s a big opportunity for us to showcase our football brand and how we do things and obviously provide a great platform for our student-athletes."

Who will improve their draft stock from the tentpole event?
