Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates Antoine Winfield Jr. and Tristan Wirfs are Bucs' 2020 draft pics who are already Super Bowl Champions despite being in the early years of their NFL careers.

Winfield got his contract extension from the Bucs in the spring to the tune of 4 years and $81 million, and he is awaiting the news that his teammate Wirfs is also getting an extension.

Whereas Winfield was a second-round pick whose four-year contract expired at the end of the 2023 season, Wirfs was a first-round pick whose rookie deal had a fifth-year option.  Wirfs is fully immersed in training camp activity even though free agency could be looming in 2025.

Because of how he is handling everything on and off the field, Winfield applauds Wirfs' character.

According to NFL insider, Jordan Schultz, the Bucs and Wirfs are reportedly far apart in negotiation which adds to the stress for everyone involved who wants the three-time Pro Bowler and former first-team and second-team All-Pro to be on the Bucs' roster for years to come.
