The Cleveland Browns depth chart took a hit during the Minnesota Vikings preseason game.  Three backup offensive tackles were injured.

Browns reporter Tony Grossi tweeted what happened: "James Hudson left with an ankle injury. Germain Ifedi just walked to locker room. And Hakeem Adeniji was shaken up after 90y interception return."

There is no word on how severe the injuries are.  It is worth noting that Jedrick Wills Jr., starting left offensive tackle, had season-ending knee surgery in December and is still recovering.

A strong, healthy, and sturdy offensive line is always important, particularly with Deshaun Watson returning after season-ending shoulder surgery last November.

The Browns were once known as having the best offensive line in football.  Things have been challenging with injuries and the departure of legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan. Callahan left the Browns this year after spending the past four seasons with the team.  He is now the Tennessee Titans' offensive line coach, working for his son, head coach Brian Callahan.
