West Virginia is hoping to build on a strong 2023 season that ended with a blowout win in the Duke's Mayo Bowl.

It was the Mountaineers' second winning season under head coach Neal Brown, who has held the job since 2019. Following up on that breakthrough campaign shouldn't be an issue with dual-threat quarterback Garrett Greene once again leading the offense.

Running backs Jahiem White and CJ Donaldson Jr. are also back after combining for more than 1,600 rushing yards last year. A pair of transfer corners in TJ Crandall (Colorado State) and Ayden Garnes (Duquesne) will be a key part of the defensive unit reaching its full potential.
