The Arch Manning era has arrived in Texas — well, at least temporarily.
With Quinn Ewers still recovering from an oblique injury, Manning will be the starting quarterback when the Longhorns take the field for a non-conference matchup with UL-Monroe on Saturday. Ewers suffered the injury against UTSA last week, but Manning stepped up and delivered a brilliant performance off the bench.

In a 56-7 win, Manning finished with 276 total yards and five touchdowns, showing Texas fans why he was considered the top prospect in the Class of 2023. Now, Manning will look to build on that victory and keep the Longhorns at No. 1 in The Associated Press college football poll.
