The two Texas players were announced as the 2024 promotional partners for Lamborghini Austin in a flashy social media ad on Thursday.
This isn't the first time that Texas players have received use of a Lamborghini as part of an NIL package. Legendary running back Bijan Robinson inked a deal with Lamborghini Austin two years ago during his Doak Walker-winning junior season, and three Longhorns signed a similar deal a year ago: Jake Majors, Jaylan Ford and Jordan Whittington.
Now Bond and Taaffe can join that elite crew as part of a deal that has pushed Bond's NIL value as high as $643,000.
