Only 79 years later, Utah and Oklahoma State are set for their second ever meeting on the gridiron.
On Sept. 21, the Cowboys will host newcomers the Utes in Oklahoma State's first Big 12 game of the season. It won't be Utah's as it faces Baylor in Week 2 to begin its time in the Big 12.
It's going to be a good one. The Utes are predicted to finish first in the conference, despite just joining the Big 12, while the Cowboys are slotted for third, despite making it to the title game in 2023. But as every football fan knows, don't get too comfortable. This year is going to be full of surprises with realignments and an expanded postseason.
