Big Ten media days officially got underway in Indianapolis on Tuesday, and one team announced its arrival in grand fashion. It wasn't at Lucas Oil Stadium, but rather outside of it on the White River. The Oregon Ducks announced their arrival to the Big Ten with a massive floating Duck making its way through the currents of change.

No longer a part of the de funk Pac-12, Oregon will join UCLA, USC, and Washington in the new, expanded -- and we think -- improved, 18-team Big Ten this fall. We're not quite sure who is behind the marketing troll, but how can you not give some respect to the efforts here? The site of a massive duck floating along had to turn a few heads in the Midwestern town and unofficial home of the conference.

Oregon is expected to not only compete for a Big Ten title in Year 1 of the league but also be a player in the national title race, and an almost lock to make the 12-team College Football Playoff. If you didn't get a look at what looks like a rubber ducky that found some PYM particles to grow massive, get a look below.

Nobody knows if Oregon will meet all of those lofty expectations this year, but give the Ducks credit for making a great first impression with the invasion of the waterways in Indy.
