It’s often a tradition among football teams to have the new players entertain the rest of the team. We’ve seen it with HBO’s Hard Knocks, where Chicago Bears rookies Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze performed karaoke during a team meeting. It appears this tradition has made its way to the Big Ten football world.

During the Wisconsin training camp segment on Big Ten Network, freshman Colin Cubbery covered Adele’s “Something Like You,” with the rest of the Badgers singing along. It’s safe to say his performance was well-received by the team.

Cubbery, a native of LaGrangeville, NY, comes in at 6-foot-6 and 316 pounds. He is the Badgers’ third highest-ranked offensive lineman in the class of 2024, joining three other offensive linemen in this new class.

The right guard joins an experienced unit. Despite losing center Tanor Bortolini, who earned all-conference recognition last year, Wisconsin returns three other starters on the offensive line: Jack Nelson, Joe, Huber, and Riley Mahlman.

This Badger offensive line will need to have a big year to protect the new quarterback transfer in Miami’s Tyler Van Dyke. Wisconsin always seems to reload up front every year, so “Rumor Has It” the team will have another strong group on the offensive line this season.
