Iowa State landed two wide receivers on the Biletnikoff Award’s preseason watch list with Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel.
Higgins and Noel are both coming off huge seasons in 2023.
Higgins led the Cyclones with 53 receptions for 983 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns in 2022 with an average of 18.5 yards per catch. Noel had 63 receptions for 895 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Iowa State duo were two of the 11 wide receivers to make the cut from the Big 12 Conference along with Kansas’ Lawrence Arnold, Baylor’s Ashtyn Hawkins, Colorado’s Travis Hunter and LaJohntay Wester, Texas Tech’s Josh Kelly, TCU’s Eric McAlister, Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan and Oklahoma State’s Rashod Owens and Brennan Presley.
Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr. was the 2023 Biletnikoff Award winner.
Iowa State opens the season on Aug. 31 at home against North Dakota.
