College football's four most outstanding players of 2023 will meet Saturday in New York City for the presentation of this year's Heisman Trophy winner.
Three quarterbacks — Jayden Daniels of LSU, Bo Nix of Oregon and Michael Penix Jr. of Washington — will sit alongside one wide receiver — Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State — as finalists for the award that's annually presented to the country's most outstanding college football player.
Of the four, only Penix will play in the College Football Playoff when his Washington Huskies face Texas on Jan. 1.

How to watch the Heisman Trophy ceremony
Per tradition, the Heisman Trophy ceremony in 2023 will be shown live on ESPN starting at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 9.
Cord-cutters will be able to watch ESPN's live coverage of the Heisman Trophy ceremony via Fubo, which offers a free trial.
As is the case for all live ESPN programming, the ceremony will also be available to watch on ESPN+.

Heisman Trophy ceremony start time

The Heisman Trophy ceremony will begin promptly at 8 p.m. ET with live coverage on ESPN.
ESPN voice Chris Fowler will once again host the enshrinement ceremony, and this year he'll be joined by reporters Holly Rowe and Marty Smith on site.
This marks the 30th consecutive year Fowler has emceed the event.
The show will last one hour.
Heisman Trophy odds 2023
The odds to win the Heisman Trophy favor the quarterbacks, who are the focal point of some high-octane attacks.
However, it's not inconceivable for a wide receiver to take home the crown. While a quarterback has won the past two crowns (Caleb Williams in 2022 and Bryce Young in 2021), Crimson Tide wide receiver Devonta Smith took home the trophy in 2020.

Where is the Heisman Trophy ceremony held?
The Heisman ceremony will once again be held at Lincoln Center in New York City, the site of each of the last two ceremonies.
The 2023 ceremony will honor the 89th Heisman Trophy winner.
How does the Heisman voting process work?
The votes for the 2023 Heisman Trophy were tallied by 928 votes — 870 media members spanning six different geographic regions in the United States (Far West, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, South and Southwest), 57 living Heisman Trophy winners and one corporate-sponsored fan vote.
Voters were allowed to select any three players, in order of preference. A given voter's first-place vote is worth three points; their second-place vote is worth two points; and their third-place is worth one point.
