There has been a lot of arguments over the past couple of weeks about which school produces the best wide receivers in the NFL, better known as 'Wide Receiver U'. While some people say it is LSU with Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase or Alabama with Devonta Smith and Jerry Jeudy, after this week's performances, the debate is finally over.
After a slow first-career game with the Arizona Cardinals, Marvin Harrison Jr. put on a show against the Los Angeles Rams and proved why he is the best receiver in his class. Totaling four receptions, 130 yards and two touchdowns, Harrison was unstoppable in a massive 41-10 victory.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seahawks put up monster numbers against the Patriots with 12 receptions and 117 total yards.
Chris Olave helped lead the Saints in a smashing 44-19 win over the Cowboys with six receptions and over 80 yards.
And in back-to-back games, New York Jets' Garrett Wilson has accumulated ten receptions for 117 total receiving yards as the number one option.
In total, the Ohio State Buckeye receivers totaled nearly 400 yards receiving on 24 receptions and two touchdowns, while also going 4-0 in their respective matchups.
Moreover, former OSU running back J.K. Dobbins made history as a member of the Los Angeles Chargers. In their 26-3 win over the Panthers, Dobbins became the first Charger since LaDainian Tomlinson to put up 130 or more rushing yards in back-to-back games.
