As the season approaches in the NBA, social media has been plenty busy with many of the new City Edition jerseys for teams that have been leaked.

Fans across the nation have been giving their opinions on these new jerseys, but one team’s new threads may have taken the cake.

“The Toronto Raptors’ new City Edition jersey honors Vince Carter’s iconic Dunk Contest and between-the-legs dunk," ESPN’s Nick DePaula shared on social media. “Vince is entering the Hall of Fame next month.”

Carter was drafted with the No. 5 overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft. The North Carolina alum was selected by the Golden State Warriors before immediately being dealt to the Raptors. The versatile guard spent the majority of his 22-year career in Toronto but had his chance to play with seven different teams throughout his NBA journey.

The high-flier had many career highlights but he’s most known for his iconic 360-windmill dunk during the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest. However, Carter was more than just a dunker, the eight-time All-Star averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 43.5% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range.

The Florida native will be inducted into the Hall of Fame next month and he’ll have the Raptors’ new jerseys to help celebrate his impressive career and classic moments in the league.
