Every team in the NBA has their overall probabilities and chances at winning a championship. Some opportunities are right around the corner, while others are still in the building process and have some years before they can compete for a title. As for the Oklahoma City Thunder, their time is now.

Bleacher Report's Dan Favale recently came out with a list 'power ranking every NBA team's three-year window', comparing the likelihood of each team winning conferences championships and NBA titles, and the Thunder ranked first.

Favale went on to say that "[the ranking] should probably be inarguable". From the MVP runner-up in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and rising stars like Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams to the new additions of Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein, as well as keeping the main, young core, it truly is only a matter of time until Loud City hoists a banner.

Moreover, if somehow things do not work out down the line, Favale highlighted the Thunder's great position:

"[The Thunder have] zero bad contracts on the books and all the draft picks ever to either keep replenishing the rotation with cost-controlled contracts or to use as trade chips that address whatever needs or can't-miss opportunities arise," Favale stated, "At a time when contending windows seldom stay open more than three years, Oklahoma City is positioned to run this league for the next decade".

As long as the Thunder continue to improve and gain overall experience, the Larry O'Brien will no doubt find a home in Oklahoma City.
