The Los Angeles Clippers just suffered a tremendous loss after trading the former MVP and all-time triple-double leader Russell Westbrook. Before trading Westbrook, the Clippers had 6.7 million followers on Instagram, and after the trade the Clippers lost 1.4 million followers bringing their follower count down to 5.3 million.
The Clippers have lost one of their superstars in Paul George to free agency, and traded away Westbrook, both California natives and fan favorites. Those two losses without getting anything significant in return paired with the huge hit to their social media might be foreshadowing some dark times in the Clippers' future.
