Howard's mother is Sheryl Howard, a former women's basketball player at Morris Brown College. Both Sheryl and Howard's father are from Atlanta. She had Dwight in December of 1985.
Dwight Howard is currently 38 years old. Per Yardbarker, Howard has said in the past that he's considered a miracle child after Sheryl had seven miscarriages before he was born.
Who is Dwight Howard's dad?
Howard's father is Dwight Howard Sr.. a former Georgia State Trooper and the athletic director at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy.
Dwight Jr. attended Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy before being drafted into the NBA out of high school.
