In August 2019, ESPN released "The Sterling Affairs," a five-part podcast series that chronicled the rise and fall of former Clippers owner Donald Sterling. The project, which veteran NBA reporter Ramona Shelburne hosted, explored how Sterling built a real estate empire, bought the franchise and eventually lost it after audio recordings revealed him making racist comments in a conversation with his then-mistress V. Stiviano.
Nearly five years later, "Clipped" is diving back into the Sterling story. The FX miniseries is based on "The Sterling Affairs" and features an incredible cast that includes Cleopatra Coleman, Laurence Fishburne, Ed O'Neill and Jacki Weaver.
