Greece has given themselves a great host at advancing to the knockout rounds, fending off Australia's second-half comeback to secure a 77-71 win.
The Boomers trailed by 17 points at the half, but found their rhythm after the break, getting to with two points with 2:20 to play in the game, before Greece pulled away.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 20 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Thomas Walkup had it going from deep, connecting on 4-of-7 triples on his way to 18 points.
Jock Landale led the Aussies with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Patty Mills added 13 points and Dyson Daniels 11.
With Canada's win over Spain later in the night, the Boomers secured second place in the group to advance to the knockout rounds, while Greece is still in contention to finish as one of the best third-place teams.
