New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge was ejected for the first time in his MLB career on Saturday, and he came back with emphasis in his first at-bat since.
The Yankees captain has gotten off to a slow start to the season, hitting .209 with 43 strikeouts and six home runs in 35 games played entering Sunday afternoon's game against the Detroit Tigers.
He came back with some fire, though, after he was ejected late during Saturday's game, drilling an opposite-field home run against Tigers starter Tarik Skubal in the first inning.
The Yankees need Judge to get hot as they tread water near the top of the AL East, and maybe the ejection lit a fire underneath him.
