The Boston Red Sox have had a number of players land on the injured list early on in their 2024 campaign, but they've been slowly getting some back, and another appears to be working his way to a return.

According to Beyond the Monster's Chris Henrique, right-handed reliever Isaiah Campbell is beginning a rehab assignment with the Worcester Red Sox, Boston's Triple-A affiliate.

Campbell has been on the 15-day injured list for over a month due to a right shoulder impingement.

In seven appearances this season, Campbell posted a 12.79 ERA and a 2.05 WHIP. While those numbers are horrendous, he only really struggled in his last two outings, giving up eight of his nine earned runs in two innings against the Baltimore Orioles.

Boston will have a decision to make when he's ready to return.
