The Los Angeles Dodgers certainly have been bitten by the injury bug this season.

There are just a few weeks left in the 2024 Major League Baseball regular season and it feels like the Dodgers haven't actually been at full strength for a single game this year. This should be a scary thought for opposing teams as the club ideally will start to get some reinforcements back before the playoffs.

Los Angeles currently is dealing with a handful of high-impact injuries and yet it is one of the best teams in baseball and one of the top contenders to represent the National League in the World Series.

If the Dodgers start to get some players back soon, it only will help this fact. But, there currently is "no known timetable" on return dates for pitchers Tyler Glasnow or Clayton Kershaw, according to the New York Post's Jon Heyman.

"The Dodgers are probably the best team, but there’s no known timetable for Tyler Glasnow or Clayton Kershaw. Things are more wide open than ever. Crapshoot coming."

Glasnow has missed time recently due to right elbow tendinitis. Kershaw currently is out due to a bone spur in his left big toe. Neither of these injuries should be long-term ailments and both should be good to go by the playoffs. While this is the case, the fact that there is "no known timetable" according to Heyman, is nerve-wracking.

These two hurlers certainly are players to monitor over the next few weeks.
