The MLB uniform storyline just won't go all the way away.

While the quality of the uniforms has come under fire since training camp, the latest display of the issues caused by the material Nike used came when the Dodgers road gray jerseys changed colors in the sweltering Philadelphia humidity.

At 8:15pm Eastern on Tuesday it was 88 degrees with 63 percent humidity according to Weather.com. The resulting sweat turned the Dodgers typical road grays into a deep, charcoal gray akin to whatever it was the Diamondbacks wore as their gray from 2016-2019.

Unfortunately for the Dodgers, sweating through the uniform was the least of their worries in Tuesday's series opener against the National League's best team. They fell behind 9-0 in the fourth inning before finally getting a run on a Cavan Biggio home run in the fifth.

An all around tough way to start a series in Philly.
