Golf fans will be focused on the action at Valhalla Golf Club this weekend as several players step onto the course in Louisville, Ky., for the 106th edition of the PGA Championship.
However, controversy is now surrounding the tournament as the world's No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was arrested Friday morning while attempting to drive to the Valhalla Golf Club for the start of round two. He was later released and arrived at the golf course around 9:12 a.m. Scheffler is in the mists of trying to win his second major tournament of the year after finishing atop the leaderboard at the Masters last month.
Rory McIlroy, who recently won the Wells Fargo Championship, is hoping to snap a major-less streak that dates back to 2014. Other contenders include Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele.

TV coverage for the PGA Championship will be split between CBS and ESPN. Rounds 1 and 2 as well as portions of Rounds 3 and 4 will be presented on ESPN. CBS will offer coverage of Rounds 3 and 4 on Saturday and Sunday.

What channel is the PGA Championship on today?
The second round of the 2024 PGA Championship will be carried on ESPN+ from 7 a.m. ET until noon ET. Coverage will then shift to ESPN at noon ET and finish at 8 p.m. ET.
