With only five races remaining this season, Formula 1 heads to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez this Sunday for the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix.

After a dramatic qualifying session on Saturday, Ferrari's Carlos Sainz claimed pole position. Title contenders Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc start at two, three and four respectively. Verstappen holds a 57-point lead over Norris in the drivers' standings.

Meanwhile, former champion Fernando Alonso, who will compete in a landmark 400th race, starts 13th on the grid.
