After winning again last time out in Austin, Texas during the 2023 United States Grand Prix, Max Verstappen will be looking to break his own record of most wins in an F1 season as the action arrives in Mexico.
The Dutchman managed to take his 15th chequered flagged finish of the season last time out despite having to contend with a brakes issue throughout.
He eventually crossed the line in P1, only by just over a second from Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton although the British driver was later disqualified alongside Ferrari's Charles Leclerc as both failed a physical floor and plank wear inspection.

Hamilton will be keen to go again here though as the German constructor looked a lot quicker on US soil thanks to their final big upgrade of the season.
George Russell, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Leclerc also all remain in the fight for their first win of the year, whilst Carlos Sainz will be looking to win again after he finished first in Singapore a few months back.
Home favourite Sergio Perez will be desperate to impress too as he returns back to his roots and looks for a better result this weekend as the pressure grows on his shoulders at Red Bull.
