Week 1 was a wild one for kickers. Brandon Aubrey made a 66-yard field goal that was ultimately called back due to a delay of game penalty. He even lined up for the 71-yard attempt before Cowboys' head coach Mike McCarthy ultimately decided against it. Chris Boswell also single-handedly beat the Atlanta Falcons, going 6-6 on field goals and accounting for all 18 of the Steelers' points.

We also had some rather strange occurrences in the world of kicking. Most significantly, Justin Tucker actually missed a field goal. Tucker narrowly missed a 53-yard attempt in Thursday night's matchup against the Chiefs. But there's no need to worry, Tucker's still holds the highest career field goal percentage, having made 90.02 percent of his attempts to date.

Moving into Week 2, the upper tiers of our kicker rankings haven't changed much. Staple names such as Tucker, Harrison Butker, and Younghoe Koo still top our ranks. But our rankings are constantly adjusted throughout the week, so check back regularly to keep up with any changes.

Who are the best fantasy kickers in Week 2?

The combination of the offensive quality in Kansas City and the accuracy of Harrison Butker's leg should lead to plenty of fantasy points this season. Butker is currently our K1 for this week as the Chiefs prepare to face the Bengals. Cincinnati's offense looked sluggish in Week 1, but if they are firing on all cylinders, this has the chance to be a high-scoring affair.

Jake Elliott is another kicker for a potent offense who also happens to have pinpoint accuracy. Elliott started the season out strong, knocking in four extra points and two field goals. The Eagles' offense also seems completely rejuvenated under offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. Elliott is a strong kicker who should be afforded plenty of opportunities to put up points in the coming weeks.

The aforementioned Brandon Aubrey is the final member of our top five kickers for Week 2. He put on a clinic in Week 1. Aubrey made all seven of his kicks, including a 57-yard bomb that actually counted on top of the 61-yarder that was nullified. Aubrey was fantasy's top kicker last year and will be a top option each week until further notice.

Who are the best fantasy kicker sleepers in Week 2?

For Week 2 sleepers, you only have to look at one matchup! Joshua Karty and the Rams will be taking on Matt Prater and the Cardinals. Neither team boasts a particularly stout defense, and the Arizona D is just flat out bad, so scoring shouldn't be a problem in this one. Karty was 2-for-2 in his NFL debut Sunday night against the Lions with a long kick of 41 yards.

And no, you're not going crazy, the Matt Prater who is kicking for the Arizona Cardinals is the same Matt Prater who made his NFL debut in 2007. The 40-year-old Prater has been very reliable for the Cardinals in the last three years and kept it up in Week 1 by going 4-4 on all kicks. The new-found appeal for Prater revolves around the fact that the Cardinals offense is making strides now that Kyler Murray is healthy. The Cardinals put up 28 points in Week 1 and will have to keep their foot on the gas all year long thanks to an abysmal defense. Expect Prater to be a beneficiary of offensive improvements in Arizona.
