Team India named a 15-player contingent that makes a formidable unit for the ODI World Cup 2023 on Tuesday, September 5.
The Indian team management seemed to have gone with a safe 15 for the World Cup, scheduled to happen in India in October-November.

After the announcement, many cricket pundits took to X (formerly Twitter), expressing their views on how they look at the squad.
Ravi Shastri, former India cricketer, tweeted on the same, terming India as an "excellent" team.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also joined in on the bandwagon and asked the fans to back the team in their attempt to win the trophy.
Swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag came out in the support of Team India.
Irfan Pathan and Subramaniam Badrinath as well sent their wishes to the team.
