A few days after hosting the NHL Winter Classic, Wrigley Field will be home to more hockey for The Frozen Confines. Three Big Ten matchups will play over the two-day doubleheader along with one WCHA face off. Participating teams include Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Michigan State as well as the women's teams from Wisconsin and Michigan State.
Chicago will truly be filled wit the best of the best teams on January 3 and 4. All six men's teams were ranked in the top 20 nationally last season with the Wolverines moving onto the Frozen Four for their third straight year. The Badgers and Buckeyes have combined to win the last five women's championships, so that game could very well be a preview of the next title game.
NCAA hockey doesn't begin until October 5, but it's never too early to make New Year's plans. Here's how to get tickets for The Frozen Confines series at Wrigley Field in 2025.

Tickets for The Frozen Confines officially go on sale Friday, Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. CT. You can find passes for each day on StubHub.
Tickets can be purchased for either Friday's games or Saturday's games. Each pass is valid for the two games on that day's schedule. Currently, it costs about $35 for a Friday seat, but prices may fluctuate as the season begins.

The Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series schedule
The 2025 Frozen Confines series takes place over two days – Friday, Jan. 3 and Saturday, Jan. 4. Two games will be played at Wrigley Field each day with Saturday's schedule including a women's game between WCHA member teams.
