As expected, WBC champ Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) came in much lighter than he did for his previous outing. The British star’s weight of 262 pounds is 15 pounds lower than it was for a listless points win over former UFC champ Francis Ngannou in October.

The 35-year-old switch hitter looks to be in excellent fighting shape and has put in the work for this one. Motivated by the chance to emulate countryman Lennox Lewis, who reigned as undisputed champ in 1999, Fury had his passionate fans in a frenzy when he hit the scales.

"I'm ready to rock and roll! Fireworks tomorrow night." bellowed “The Gypsy King”, who was considerably more animated than he was at Thursday’s press conference. "I'm gonna knock this little f—er spark out. I'm coming for his heart, that's what I'm coming for.

Legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer gave 233.5 pounds as the official number for unified champ Oleksandr Usyk. However, multiple sources later confirmed that the correct weight was 223.5, which is more in line with the 221 he weighed for his most recent bouts against Anthony Joshua (twice) and Daniel Dubois.

Despite being almost 40 pounds lighter and six inches shorter, Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) was far from intimidated. The 37-year-old lefty is accustomed to using his foot speed and punching accuracy to bedevil bigger opponents and he's been here before.

“Don't be afraid, I will not leave you alone tomorrow,” said Usyk in the direction of his opponent. "My plan [is to stay calm]. If I am nervous, I cannot win. My fans, I love you. See you tomorrow."

Fury and Usyk takes place Saturday, May 18th local time in Saudi Arabia. The fighters should make their way to the ring around 6 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
