Legalized sports betting has exploded onto the scene in the United States following the reversal of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA) in 2018. Since then, 33 states plus the District of Columbia have legalized sports betting in some capacity, and this number is sure to increase in the coming years.

Is sports betting legal in New Hampshire?

New Hampshire legalized sports betting in January 2020 after Gov. Chris Sununu signed H480 in the summer of 2019 for online and retail betting. There are multiple retail locations to place a bet in the state, but the only sportsbook available is DraftKings.

How do I bet on sports in New Hampshire?

New Hampshirites must be 18 or older to bet on sports in person/online. However, residents can bet on horse racing in person at The Brook, which is the lone racebook in New Hampshire. They can also bet online at sites such as TVG and TwinSpires. 

Can I bet on college sports in New Hampshire?

The Granite State has two D1 programs (Dartmouth and the Univ. of New Hampshire), but residents cannot bet on them. Additionally, New Hampshirites cannot bet on college player props, such as, "Will player 'x' score more than 15.5 points in a game." However, residents can bet on college basketball, football, and baseball games that don't involve Dartmouth or UNH teams.

Where can I bet on sports in New Hampshire?
