All Elite Wrestling was born in 2019, starting with its Double or Nothing event. The company returns to its roots almost five years later when it heads to the MGM Grand Garden Arena for Double or Nothing on May 26.

One of the top matches on the card will be Willow Nightingale defending the AEW TBS Title against Mercedes Mone. Mone, the former Sasha Banks in WWE, immediately made an impact in her AEW debut, eventually calling out Nightingale. The two faced off in May 2023 for the NJPW Strong Women's Title, with Nightingale beating Mone after the latter got injured.

Now healthy, Mone has hinted at turning heel against Nightingale, someone she has unfinished business with.

“I don’t know Willow. I don’t know if she’s dirty. I don’t know how bad she wants things. I’ve been around a business where people will scratch, claw, and stab you in your back. So far, we got to do a little chatting backstage. She seems nice. She’s cute. I’d like to pick up some more Big Business with her again,” Mone said to Renee Paquette before the match became official via Fightful.

Also on the card, Swerve Strickland defends the AEW World Title against Christian Cage. Swerve beat Samoa Joe at AEW Dynasty to reach the top of the mountain. Former TNT Champion Cage and his faction have a history with Swerve. Nick Wayne got beaten up by Swerve, and Cage reminded him he lost a match they teamed up in against Darby Allin and Sting.

The final "main event" match will be Anarchy in the Arena. The Elite (Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, Matthew Jackson, and Nicholas Jackson) face Team AEW (Bryan Danielson, FTR, and Darby Allin) in a chaotic match where anything goes. It is the ultimate turf war for bragging rights.

Roderick Strong defends the AEW International Title against the red-hot Will Ospreay, while ”Timeless" Toni Storm defends the AEW Women’s World Title against Serena Deeb. Jon Moxley, Adam Copeland, Orange Cassidy, and more will also appear on the card.
