After a splendid show in the earlier knockout games, Sehrawat's journey at the Paris Olympics was stunted till the semis. Higuchi beat the Indian wrestler by 10-0 in the opening three minutes of the match.
The Japanese Olympian was eventually handed over the victory on the basis of technical superiority. That being said, not all is grim for Sehrawat, who still has a bout to play, for the bronze medal.
