India stormed into the semi-final of the Women's Junior Asia Cup with a 11-0 win over Chinese Taipei in their last Pool match in Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture, Japan on Thursday.
It was another dominant victory for the Indian team, who defeated Uzbekistan 22-0 on the opening day. With three wins and one draw, India finished the group stage unbeated and at the top of Pool A.
Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke (1’), Deepika (3’), Annu (10’, 52’), Rutuja Dadaso Pisal (12’), Neelam (19’), Manju Chorsiya (33’), Sunelita Toppo (43’, 57’), Deepika Soreng (46’), and Mumtaz Khan (55’) scored India against Chinese Taipei.
India made a statement of intent in the first minute itself when Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke scored a field goal. They scored three more in the first quarter as Deepika converted a penalty corner in the third minute and Annu and Rutuja Dadaso Pisal netted a goal each.
Having set the tone, India controlled the game through ball possession and relentless attacks. Neelam (19’) found the back of the net and India went into the half-time break with a 5-0 lead.

Despite the lead, they didn't show any signs of slowing down as Manju Chorsiya (33’) and Sunelita Toppo (43’) netted field goals in the third quarter and Deepika Soreng (46'), Annu (52'), Mumtaz Khan (55'), and Sunelita Toppo (57') each scored a goal to take India's tally to 11-0.
