Gujarat Giants were crowned Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 champions as they scored a 31-26 victory over Chennai Quick Guns at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Cuttack on Saturday.
Though not the most consistent of teams during the league stage, Gujarat Giants were superb on the day and quickly shut the door on favourites Chennai Quick Guns.
The Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) has emerged as a massive platform for the sport after a highly successful 2024 season. It was India's third-largest non-cricket league in terms of viewership.
The tournament operates as a semi-professional Kho Kho league with a primary objective of identifying and nurturing emerging talent, from all parts of the country.
