The Men's Asian Champions Trophy is an annual international hockey competition organised by the Asian Hockey Federation where the top six teams of the continent lock horns for the ultimate prize.
The Asian Champions Trophy 2023 will be the seventh edition of the tournament. It will be treated as a preparatory tournament for the forthcoming Asian Games in September-October to be held in Hangzhou, China.
India (2011, 2016, 2018) & Pakistan (2012, 2013, 2018) are the most successful teams in the competition with three titles each. In the 2018 edition, both India & Pakistan were announced as joint winners after the final was abandoned due to rain.
