Achanta Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra will lead India's table tennis team at Asian Games 2023, in Hangzhou, China. The tournament will take place from September 25 to October 2.

The Indian team made history at the previous edition of the Asian Games, securing their first medals. Kamal led the men's team to a bronze medal and partnered with Manika Batra to stand third in mixed doubles.

In this edition, Sathiyan Gnanasekaran will team up with Batra for the mixed doubles event and with Kamal for men's doubles. Gnanasekaran will compete in men's singles as well.

The rest of the men's team comprises Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah. Anthony Amalraj failed to make the cut this time and was replaced by Shah.

In the women's squad, Batra, along with Sreeja Akula, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Ayhika Mukherjee, and Diya Chitale, will aim for a podium finish.

Sutirtha and Ayhika will ply their trade in women's doubles, while Chitale and Akula will form the other team.

Batra and Akula will participate in women's singles.

Each country is allowed only two players per category in the singles event at the Asian Games table tennis competition.
