Indian golfer Diksha Dagar captured the Czech Ladies Open 2023, which is part of the Ladies European Tour, for her first title of the year on Sunday.
Competing at the Royal Beroun Golf Club, the 22-year-old finished with a score of 13-under par (69, 65, 69) after three rounds, four shots ahead of Thailand's Trichat Cheenglab.

This was her second title on the LET title. Dagar, who made her Olympics debut in Tokyo in 2021, had won the 2019 South African Women’s Open in Cape Town.
The triumph on Sunday saw Dagar bury the demons of 2021, when she narrowly missed out on the title. This time around, featuring in the Czech Ladies Open fourth successive time, the Indian youngster held her nerve.
She started the day with a five-shot lead over Spain's Ana Pelaez Trivino, England's Cara Gainer and Gabriella Cowley. Though the Indian trailed Ana Dawson by one stroke, she bagged birdies at the 10th, 15th and 18th holes to motor to victory.
Dagar is also the only Indian other than Aditi Ashok to win two or more titles at the LET.
This was the best finish for Dagar in 2023, who has played 14 tournaments so far this season. Her previous best was a tied third place at the German Masters last week.
