Arch rivals India and Pakistan have been drawn into the same group in the upcoming Asian Games 2022 hockey competition.
India and Pakistan have been placed in Pool A alongside Uzbekistan, Singapore, Japan and Bangladesh.

The hockey competition in the Asian Games 2022 will be held between September 24 and October 6 in Hangzhou, China.
The Asian Hockey Federation along with the Asian Games 2022 organising committee, on Tuesday, released the Pools and fixtures for men's and women's hockey competition in the upcoming Asian Games 2022.
The Indian women's hockey team has also been placed in Pool A alongside South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
