The Archery World Championships 2023 is set to start on Tuesday, August 1 in Berlin, Germany.
The Archery event will serve as a platform for archers across the world including Indians to grab Paris Olympics 2024 quotas.

The three best-placed recurve teams in the men’s and women’s categories will earn three quota places each, accounting for 18 (nine each for men and women) of the 24 quotas on offer.
The highest-ranked individual recurve archers from contingents which did not make the top three in team events can also earn six (three per gender) quota places for their countries.
A maximum of one quota will be awarded per country on the basis of individual performances.
Which Indians are taking part in the World Archery Championships 2023?
India have sent a 12-person contingent which includes male and female archers.
Asian Games 2018 gold medalist Abhishek Verma and former World Championships silver medalist Jyothi Surekha will spearhead the Indian challenge in Berlin.
