The Indian contingent has won five medals at the ongoing Olympic Games - four bronzes and one silver. Two of those bronzes have fortunately come courtesy of shooter Manu Bhaker.
Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal in the Mixed Team 10m Air Pistol alongside Sarabjot Singh. The acclaimed Indian shooter, opened India's medal tally at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Day 2, finishing third on the podium for the Women's 10m Air Pistol event.
Bhaker, courtesy of the two medals, has now joined the reverend list of Indian Olympians (individual) with more than one medal at the Olympic Games.
She has also become the first Indian woman to win two medals in the same edition of the Olympic Games. The shooter is only the second Indian - the first in the post-independence era - to win two medals in the same edition.
Bhaker was joined in this list by star Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra, who won silver at Paris to go with his gold at Tokyo.
