Following a two-week break between races six and seven on the calendar, the 2024 Formula One season returns with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix from Italy's iconic Imola Circuit. It's the first European meeting of the year, and could be too close to call if Lando Norris, the winner in Miami last time out, can continue his form for a second consecutive race.

It's only the fourth time that the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has been held, with the first three between 2020 and 2022 before last year's meeting was called off due to heavy rain and flooding. However, the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola previously played host to the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. 

Max Verstappen still leads the way by some distance in the 2024 Drivers' Championship with four wins from six races so far, but after being pipped to the pole by Norris in Miami, the three-time defending world champion has his work cut out to try and return to winning ways in Imola this afternoon.

The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is the seventh race of the 2024 Formula One season and takes place at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy.

Here's how to watch the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix across selected areas of the world's major regions:

USA: ESPN is showing the race live on US cable TV on ESPN, and while there's also several streaming options, ESPN+ and Fubo are your best bets with the latter including a FREE trial to new users.

Canada: Canadian F1 fans can watch English-speaking covering on TSN or stream via TSN Direct, while French speakers can also catch the action on RDS or Noovo.

UK: This race will be available to watch on Sky Sports' own dedicated Formula 1 channel, Sky Sports F1, with streaming services Sky Go and NOW TV both using the same broadcast feed.

Australia: Fox Sports is the place to go for F1 in Australia as well as streaming options on Foxtel Go and Kayo.

India: While there's no terrestrial TV coverage of the race in India, fans can still follow the action both live and on catch-up via the FIA's own streaming service; F1 TV Pro, or alternatively FanCode have the rights this season.

When is the next F1 race after the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix?

Today's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is the first race of the season to be held on European soil, with the globetrotting F1 calendar taking the drivers, teams and fans to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Japan, China and the US so far. Not only that, it also kicks off a huge leg of meetings based in Europe, with the Monaco Grand Prix coming hot on the heels of Imola next weekend. 

The home race of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, the Monaco Grand Prix takes place at the iconic Circuit de Monaco, and is one of few street circuits on the F1 calendar. So much so, that since first being held in 1929 it's become one of the jewels in the crown of all motorsport, along with the Indianapolis 500 and 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Taking place on Sunday, May 26, the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix will see the 20 drivers tackle 78 laps once the race begins at 3:00 p.m. local time (CET). The first practice sessions will take place on Friday, May 24, before qualifying the following day leading into the race proper on Sunday.
