France issues ahead of Euro 2024
Deschamps looks unsure on his starting line up to face Austria with Antoine Griezmann his key player to link all the parts together.
William Saliba looks to have won the race to start at centre back, and despite not being overly concerned by the Canadian attack, there was a lack of decisiveness from the home team.
That was more evident in attack, with Olivier Giroud unable to convert two chances laid on by Griezmann, and the veteran forward is still Deschamps' best line leader.
The sheer quality at Deschamps' disposal means his squad depth can recover but he will be frustrated to start Euro 2024 on the back of a draw.

Mbappe was only used in the final 15 minutes and his impact was minimal in Bordeaux.
Deschamps moved to ease concerns over his fitness ahead of kick off , with a minor muscle injury meaning he was not ready to start, after scoring in the 3-0 win over Luxembourg.
He will captain France against Austria, but off field distractions will be pointed at, if France start Euro 2024 slowly, on the back of his move to Real Madrid.
Canada lessons ahead of Copa America 2024
Canada struggled throughout in their loss to the Netherlands in Rotterdam and this performance will galvanise confidence for Jesse Marsch's team.
A well structured defence restricted France, with Crépeau on hand where needed, but Cyle Larin and Jonathan David laboured to make an impact against Sailba and Dayot Upamecano, in area that needs to improve before the Copa America gets going.
