Who is Todd Murphy?

Todd Murphy is a right-arm off-spinner who plays first-class and List A cricket for Victoria, as well as featuring for the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash competition.

At 22 years of age, Murphy made his debut for Australia against India in Nagpur on February 9, 2022.

Murphy was born in Echuca and raised in the small town of Moama. Until the age of 16, he was a top-order batsman who bowled part-time seamers, before renowned spin guru Craig Howard stepped in and realised his potential as a spinner.

During his rapid rise through the ranks, Murphy has represented Australia U19s and made his Shield debut for Victoria prior to his 21st birthday.
