Some have undoubtedly been more successful than others. On Sunday, Arshdeep Singh took three wickets against Bangladesh in Gwalior to move to 86 wickets and is in the top five list of wicket takers for India in T20Is. But who is at number one?

Who has taken the most wickets for India in T20Is?

As of 6 October 2024, India's top wicket-taker in T20Is is leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who is currently not a part of the Indian team. 

Jasprit Bumrah, who is the third highest wicket taker for India in T20Is has also been rested for the ongoing series against Bangladesh.

During the first T20I against the visitors, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya picked up 3 and 1 wickets each, respectively, who are also int he top five list currently.
