Even after his infamous spell for Gujarat Titans (GT) against KKR in IPL 2023, Yash Dayal was snapped up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for 5 Crores INR, ahead of IPL 2024 auction. The left-armer was slammed by Murali Karthik, who referred to Dayal as a 'trash', early on in IPL 2024.
Fast forward to the end of the group stages, Yash Dayal guided RCB to a playoff-finish. Courtesy of Yash Dayal's final-over heroics against CSK on Saturday, RCB managed to beat CSK, and most-importantly, get past their NRR.
Rinku Singh, who hit Yash Dayal for five sixes to win the match for KKR against GT in IPL 2023, has showed his support towards Yash Dayal. Dayal and Singh hail from the same state, and get along pretty well, off-the-field.

How did Rinku Singh react to Yash Dayal's match-winning performance against CSK?
Rinku Singh posted a story on Instagram, right after RCB beat CSK to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. Singh captioned his story, as "God's plan baby".
Indeed, it was God's plan, that Yash Dayal's heroics towards the end of the run-chase, would have RCB qualify over CSK for the knockout rounds. Dayal dismissed MS Dhoni in the final over of the game, after Dhoni hit him for a six on the very first ball of the over.
Yash Dayal has had his redemption, and Rinku Singh made sure to lend his support towards his fellow-statesman.
