The MLC 2024 playoffs are underway with the group stages concluded recently. Washington Freedom managed to top the table, followed by San Francisco Unicorns, Texas Super Kings and MI New York.

MLC 2023 proved to be a success and with more investments in the 2024 edition, the quality of the tournament has increased significantly. USA’s participation as host in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 has further increased the popularity of the game on US soil.
With the group stages concluded, the top four sides will be eyeing to win the final at the Grand Prairie Stadium in July 2027.
MLC 2024 playoffs will be following the same format as that of the IPL.

MLC 2024 playoffs format
The top four teams following the group stages will be featuring against each other in the playoff stage. The top two will clash against each other in the Qualifier game while the third and fourth placed team will face each other in the Eliminator.
Winner of the Qualifier will secure a direct place in the Final while the losing team will play against the winners of the Eliminator to determine the second finalists. The losing team from the Eliminator game will be knocked out of the tournament.

Where are the MLC 2024 playoff fixtures to be held?
All the playoff fixtures including the Final game will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas. The stadium was also one of the venues for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
When are the MLC 2024 playoff games?
MLC 2024 playoff games will be held from July 25 to July 27 with the Final set to be played on the 29th. All the games will kick-off at 6:00 AM IST.

As we saw previously, according to the playoff format WAF will be up against SFU in the Qualifier game while TSK will be battling against MINY in the Eliminator fixture.
