IPL 2024 has been a season of breaking records and matches goign down to the wire to determine the winner. Out of the 10 teams that participated in the competition, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have finished at the top of the table with 20 points in the 14 games that they have played this season.

KKR will be facing the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Qualfier 1 clash of the Playoffs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21.

How many times have KKR qualified for IPL Playoffs?
KKR have qualified for a total of seven times for the IPL playoffs. They have played a total of 14 games in the playoffs, lifitng the trophy twice in the process.
How many times have KKR won in IPL Playoffs?
KKR have won 10 out of the 15 games they have played in the IPL Playoffs.

How many times have KKR lost in IPL Playoffs?
The Super Kings have lost 5 out of 15 games they have taken part in the IPL Playoffs.
How have KKR performed in IPL Qualifiers?
In the IPL qualifiers, KKR have won five games and lost on two occassions, against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2 in 2017 and against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2018.
How have KKR performed in IPL Eliminators?
KKR have a similar Eliminator record as the qualifiers, winning three and losing two out of the five games they have played. Coincidentally, both their eliminator losses have come against MI and SRH as well.

How have KKR performed in IPL Finals?
KKR have managed to reach the final of the IPL on four occassions. They managed to lift the trophy twice in 2012 and 2014 beating CSK and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) resepctively.
The most recent final they reached was in 2021 wherein they lost to CSK, who lifted their fourth IPL title in the prrocess.
They will now play the 2024 final as well.
