The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 playoffs are fast approaching with league stages boiling down. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were the first team to confirm their place in the last-four stage and finished in the top spot.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) confirmed their playoffs tickets last week, before Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) snuck into fourth place with a superb 27-run win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday night.
On Sunday, SRH defeated Punjab Kings by five wickets in the afternoon game before the RR vs KKR match was abandoned due to rain. This combination of results meant SRH sealed second place on the points table, earning themselves two chances to qualify for the final.

The top two teams in the table will play Qualifier 1. The winner of this fixture will directly qualify for the final.
The third and fourth-placed teams will have to play an eliminator. The winner of this tie will face the losing team of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2.
