The qualification scenario for the 2024 IPL playoffs has heated up in recent days. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and current table toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have more or less confirmed their spot in the playoff round with eight wins in eleven games each, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are also on the verge of qualifying with seven wins in twelve games and a healthy net-run rate.

Meanwhile, the final spot for the playoff round has been up for grabs with a number of teams fighting for it. Five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently acquiring that fourth-spot, but have been left in a delicate situation after their loss against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad on Friday.
Which teams can qualify for the playoffs?
Apart from CSK, Delhi Capitals (DC), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and the recently rejuvenated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are in prime contention to challenge for that final qualification spot. GT also has a slim chance of qualifying, while the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS) have been eliminated from the race.

Who would qualify for the playoffs according to the IPL 2024 predictor?
With so many teams, it's tough to predict who would take up that final playoff spot, nonetheless, the IPL 2024 predictor has revealed its choice for the same.
The predictor has favoured the three-time finalists, RCB to qualify for the playoffs. A few matchdays ago, it would have been insane to predict RCB qualifying for the playoffs, but in recent games, Faf’s men have stepped up their game with four consecutive wins.
Having won just one game of the initial eight, RCB have now managed to climb up the table with four wins in a row, and are currently placed at the seventh position in the table, just below LSG, with five wins in twelve games.

Only time can tell if the three-time finalists will be able to make it to the playoffs, but irrespective of that, the efforts that the team has put in recent games have been commendable.
