When will David Warner return from injury?

There is still no return date for David Warner with the batsman in doubt for Australia's third ODI versus India in Chennai on Wednesday.

Warner had returned to India specifically for the ODI series after his Test series was cut short with a fractured elbow.

But the opener did not play in either of the first two ODIs against India.

What is David Warner's injury?

The reasoning behind Warner's absence in the first ODI was that he was yet to recover from his fractured elbow.

Will David Warner play in the IPL for Delhi Capitals?

Warner is captain of Delhi Capitals, who will begin their IPL campaign on Saturday, April 1 against Lucknow Super Giants.

It's likely Warner will be fit to take his place as skipper but this has not been confirmed.

Does David Warner have a future in the Australian Test team?

Only time will tell whether David Warner will remain in the Australian Test team for the ICC Test Championship Final and Ashes series later this year.

Despite making a stirring double ton in the Boxing Day Test, Warner has struggled with the bat in the long form of the game for some time now.

Questions were being asked about his place in the Australian Test team during the first two matches against India, and the chat has only intensified after Warner missed the final two Tests.

Australian selectors need to make a choice between nursing Warner back to form or potentially going with a new opener permanently - such as Travis Head.
